A southern girl, born and raised. Hi! I’m Ashlyn, founder, owner and lead planner of Fisk & Fig Event Planning Co. From a young age I had a dream of one day opening an event planning company. In 2023 I stepped out in faith and launched Fisk & Fig. I have poured my heart and soul into this business, holding each couple near and dear to my heart. God has been so good and faithful every step of the way. This is my absolute passion and what I believe the Lord has truly gifted me with. What’s the old saying? I run on coffee and Jesus. I am a chicken nugget girl through and through. I am a big family person, incredibly thankful for my village. I love being creative, and letting my creativity shine through planning events and calligraphy.

I met Ashlyn through my cousin. I invited her to my wedding in May 0f 2023 as a guest. As my reception was getting started she saw that my wedding planner had not shown up and that nothing was getting done the way it should have been. She stepped up without being asked and helped my wedding night go flawlessly. I did not even know that my planner was not there, because when I arrived at the reception, everything was running smoothly. It was not until later that I realized it was because Ashlyn had stepped in. She made sure we cut the cake on time, made sure the photographer was ready to take the photos of it. She even fixed my husband and I our plates of food, when I completely forgot we were even supposed to eat. Ashlyn did so much more that night than I even knew about and I am so grateful for her.
